Our mentorship work begins with Eden Inspired Men (EIM), a boys’ agro-bootcamp on the farm, and grows into Iron Table — a men’s gathering for connection, faith, wisdom, and honest conversation. Both are set on a real organic farm in the Mukono hills, ninety minutes from Kampala.
Eden Inspired Men
EIM grew out of years of listening — to children, to families, to young people in counselling — and a conviction that God’s image of “a man” is quietly eroding in this generation. The burden to do something about it became this ministry.
The goal is simple and long: to help raise a critical mass of hardworking, disciplined, foresighted, resilient men — men who are comfortable with themselves and others, and who make happy, safe spaces for the people around them.
The agro-bootcamp
It is a real outdoor camp. Boys wake to a rigorous daily farm routine — real chores in crop and animal husbandry that spark their own curiosity for farming and enterprise — balanced with team character-building games and honest conversations about life, work, people, relationships and setting goals.
No screens, no snacks, no gadgets — just good work, balanced meals (which the boys often help prepare), personal discipline, and a great deal of talking, about the small things and the big ones.
Who it’s for
The camp is built for boys and teenagers, with younger siblings sometimes accommodated by arrangement. Every activity is age-appropriate — designed for the delicate balance between fun and responsibility, and to help each boy see and appreciate the simplicity of a well-lived life.
The next step: Iron Table
Iron Table is the natural extension of EIM for an older, more mature audience — men who want more than a talk, but a space where they can connect, share, listen, and learn together.
It is designed as an interactive men’s table: faith, life, responsibility, brotherhood, accountability, and practical wisdom, held in a safe environment where honest conversation is welcomed. The first session was strong, warm, and well-fed; the rhythm is intended to continue monthly.
Led by the founders
EIM is led by George and Barbara Mbogga-Mukasa, the family behind Ampumuzza — both now retired and running the farm full time, professional mentors, married twenty-five years, and parents of four. They draw on a wide network of mentors to walk with each group of young people.

Simple personal effects and a willingness to work. No snacks, money, gadgets, tools or weapons, and no TV time — the point is real work and real conversation, face to face.

Yes. EIM is a Christian mentorship rooted in Scripture, welcoming young people warmly and meeting each one where they are.
